The Hinduja Group has announced the appointment of Amit Chincholikar as Group President – Human Resources, effective January 2. Chincholikar succeeds Amanppreet Singh Bhatia, who completed a successful five-year tenure with the company. With over 30 years of experience in Human Resources, Chincholikar brings a wealth of global expertise spanning HR strategy, leadership, and transformative HR practices across multiple regions, including India, the United States, and Singapore.
Before joining Hinduja Group, Amit held the position of Global Chief Human Resources Officer at Yokohama Off-Highway Tires (OHT). He has also worked with leading organizations such as Tata Consumer Products, Tata Sons Limited, Aditya Birla Group (ABG), and Mercer Human Resource Consulting. Throughout his career, Amit has been responsible for implementing strategies that drive organizational success, along with leading key functions such as Sustainability, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), Corporate Communications, and Business Excellence.
Amit holds a Master’s degree from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and a Bachelor’s in Science, specializing in Statistics and Operations Research, from Bombay University. His diverse background and leadership skills will play a key role in strengthening the Hinduja Group’s human resources functions as it continues to expand and evolve in the coming years.
